Catherine Mack

Producer, Director and Actress

Catherine Mack is an Australian producer, director and actress born and bred in country Victoria, Australia. With a huge passion in health, she has worked as a holisitic health coach for 7 years, contributing to the wellness landscape internationally with both private and corporate clients. Catherine is passionate about mindset and guiding clients to find their purpose and connect to their why. She founded female-led Current Mood Films and devotes a portion of her time to creating a happier, healthier world through the art of storytelling with a new podcast NIGHT LIGHT, a curation of the worlds most beautiful stories read by Australia’s most talented creatives.

Catherine has a passion for telling stories and throwing light on less explored aspects of the human condition. Her fascination with psychology and the human spirit has led her to embark on a psychology degree, which informs the bulk of her writing, circling this psychological inquiry and questions of the human spirit. Perhaps best know for her Logie nominated role on Home and Away, Catherine has worked as an actress on many Aussie classics, however prefers to create content from a grass roots level and help contribute to a (hopefully!) more diverse industry.

Her directing debut was with her short film PASSENGER, a finalist at Tropfest 2016 which has been followed up with co-directing THE HUNT (selected for Oscar-qualifying Flickerfest), and most recently Catherine has produced her first full length network show, Ch 7 comedy ‘AUSTRALIA’S SEXIEST TRADIE’.
